The Gospel High School under 15 side has created the second major upset of the Vodafone Super Deans quarter finals after edging Ratu Kadavulevu School 12-7 in the under 15 grade this morning.
The side scored two tries and a conversion while RKS only managed one converted try.
Gospel High School coach Epineri Koroiveibau was elated after the final whistle knowing they had yet again written another piece of history for their school.
Koroiveibau says it was history for them to even qualify for the national quarter finals, and to beat RKS and move on to the semi finals, is another piece of history for them.
He says now that this game is done and dusted, they will go back to the drawing board on Monday and try to improve on the areas they felt that they could have done better in today.
He adds, for now, they will celebrate the win and come Monday, it is back to business.
In other under 15 quarter finals, QVS defeated Natabua High School 15-0, Marist Brothers High School edged Sigatoka Methodist 17-13 and Suva Grammar School defeated Holy Cross College 36-5.
Meanwhile, in the under 14 quarter finals, MGM edged QVS 18-15, Marist thrashed Ra High School 46-0, Lelean Memorial School defeated Ratu Navula College 15-10 and RKS defeated Suva Grammar School 22-12.
