Fire victims receive E-ticketing cards from Vodafone Fiji

Families who were living in the 6 houses that were destroyed in the fire at the Suva Muslim League settlement on Wednesday have received E-ticketing cards through a goodwill act by the staff and management of Vodafone Fiji.

Head of Vodafone E‑Commerce and Corporate Affairs Shailendra Prasad says that they have given the families 39 E-ticketing cards with $50 in each card summing up to a total of around $2,000 worth of travel.

Prasad says they had seen the plight of the fire victims through social media and this has encouraged Vodafone management and staff members to assist the affected families.

They had also provided some basic food items, household items, clothes, sanitation items and around $50 to $80 was given to each family.

Shailendra says that this is nothing more than an act of a goodwill to people in their time of need.
