Virgin Australia has brought forward its overseas flights, with Fiji being the first destination on offer.
It will allow Sydneysiders to fly to Nadi from December 16th which is one week earlier than it previously flagged.
The ABC reports they will fly travellers from Melbourne and Brisbane to Nadi from December 17th and 18th respectively.
In a statement the Airline says they are pleased to bring forward the resumption of their Fiji services to better align with the start of the summer holiday period, making it easier for travellers to get to their destination in advance of the festive season.
They further say they know Australians are excited to finally be able to travel overseas again which is evident by the strong booking demand they have experienced for their Fiji flights since the federal government announced the roadmap to reopening Australia to the world earlier this month.
