Vinod Patel Foundation has announced a Fiji wide toy drive in support of needy children around the country during the Christmas season to spread some cheer.

The Foundation is appealing to everyone to contribute wholeheartedly and share the joy of giving this festive period.

Vinod Patel and Company Limited’s Chief Operating Officer Rahul Amin says there are many vulnerable communities that do not have national organizations dedicated to them, but that still need donations this holiday season. He says the campaign is aimed at collecting soft toys from donors and distributing them to orphanages and underprivileged children.

Marketing Manager Palash Das says the drive will be carried out in all their branches and will target local orphanages.

Das says the toys will be given to orphanages like Dilkusha Home, St. Christopher’s Home, hospitals, charitable homes and in the interior areas.

People who are interested in donating for this worthy cause can donate at any Vinod Patel outlet Fiji wide.

The appeal closes on 22nd December, 2018 so that the presents can be delivered to the children before Christmas.
