It was all smiles for the village of Nayavu in Wainibuka when their new three hundred metre access road was opened by the Assistant Minister for Rural and Maritime Development Jale Sigarara.
The project significantly improves accessibility to the village during wet weather and also eliminates the issue of dust emitted through the village and Wainibuka District School.
Sigarara says the Access Roads will also improve community access to the main transportation network, markets and essential services.
Nayavu Village comprises of 107 households.
The project was initiated through the Commissioner Central Division back in 2017.
