Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s playmaker Terio Veilawa is confident they can reign supreme at the upcoming HSBC Vancouver 7s that will kick off next Saturday.
Despite Fiji falling short to South Africa in the quarter final of the recent Perth 7s, Veilawa believes they have what it takes to claim the title in Canada.
He says they will need to fight for their spot at the top of the HSBC SVNS World Series standings, and they will need to prove why they are sitting at the top.
The 30-year-old was in top form in Perth with his mesmerizing steps and speed, and he will look to take it to the next level if he is selected in the final 13-member tour squad. Meanwhile, coach Osea Kolinisau is expected to name his touring squad by the end of this week or as early as next week.
The Vancouver 7s will be held from next Saturday to Monday 24th of this month.
