Vehicle plunges down cliff off Waimanu Road

A vehicle went off Waimanu Road near the Samabula traffic lights and down the cliff near Edinburgh Drive

Samabula Police confirm that the vehicle which went off Waimanu road near the Samabula traffic lights and went down the cliff near Edinburgh Drive has been removed.

The four wheel drive vehicle was stuck in huge tree branches just above Edinburgh Drive.

Police say the driver escaped injuries and has been questioned and released.
