Various organizations turned up for the CWM Hospital clean up day yesterday.
CWM Board of Visitors Chair, Dr. Esther Williams says, this is the first-ever major clean up campaign organised by the Board of Visitors and she was pleased with the turnout.
Dr. Williams says that two of the organizations that took part yesterday namely Bank of the South Pacific and Paradise Beverages have shown further interest in clean ups.
BSP Damodar City branch manager, Manjula Goundar says this is part of their community project and after the clean up their contractors will start repair works inside the Dental Wing.
The Human Resources Administration Officer of Paradise Beverages Tamara Turagasau says that her organization will start repair works in the Rewa Ward soon.
Meanwhile, Fiji's Vude Queen Laisa Vulakoro was providing entertainment for the clean-up crew.
Vulakoro has urged local artists to support such charitable events.
Other organizations present yesterday were QVS Old Boys Association, Marist Old Boys, ANZ, HFC Bank and Levukana Women's Club.
