Vanuatu relief supplies on its way

Relief supplies to Vanuatu are currently on its way.

Digicel Fiji’s Commercial Director Andrew Skelton said four trucks loaded with food ration supplies have been transported to the Nadi International Airport.

Skelton said the trucks are carrying approximately 20 tonnes of technical gear and essential food supplies.

Digicel has chartered a special Lockheed C-130 Hercules to take the cargo to Port Vila.

This is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft.
