Rob Valetini who has links to Fiji will start for the Brumbies against the Reds in the Super Rugby Australia final on Saturday.
His parents are both Fijians.
The 22-year-old has emerged as one of the premier back-rowers in Australia since making his debut in 2018.
Valetini who was born in Melbourne was Man of the Match during the Brumbies 22-9 win over the Western Force in the Qualifying final.
Other players starting for the Brumbies are Scott Sio, Allan Alaalatoa, Nic White, Noah Lolesio, Tom Wright, Irae Simone, Len Ikitau and Tom Banks.
The Brumbies will play the Reds in the Super Rugby Australia final at 9.45pm Saturday.
