He is one of the most experienced players in the Fiji 7s team that will be defending their title at the Tokyo Olympics and now Josua Vakurunabili is urging Fijians to get vaccinated.
Vakurunabili is now fully vaccinated after he got his second jab of the AstraZeneca vaccine in Australia last month.
Vakurunabili says he is urging people to get vaccinated to keep their loved ones and themselves safe from this deadly virus.
The Jerry Tuwai led Fiji 7s side has two matches on the opening day of the 7s competition.
They will play Japan on the 26th of this month at 12pm before taking on Canada at 8pm.
Fiji will then play Great Britain at 12.30pm on the next day.
The top two teams in each pool, plus the two third-placed teams with the highest points total will qualify for the quarterfinals.
The quarterfinals will kick off on the 28th of this month.
