After playing more than 140 games for the Fiji 7s team, Josua Vakurunabili will be one of the senior forwards Coach Gareth Baber will rely on as Fiji aims to successfully defend its Olympic Games title.
Vakurunabili will be joined in the forwards by players such as Meli Derenalagi, Kalione Nasoko and Asaeli Tuivuaka.
Vakurunabili who is from Vatukarasa in Nadroga has so far scored 47 tries in his 7s career.
Fiji is pooled with Great Britain, Canada and Japan.
The top two teams in each pool, plus the two third-placed teams with the highest points total will qualify for the quarterfinals.
The fixtures will be released later this week.
