Former Racing 92 and France international Virimi Vakatawa will make his return to international rugby this week after he was named in the Barbarians FC match-day squad to take on the Manu Samoa side on Saturday.
The Fijian winger was forced to retire from rugby last year due to a cardiac issue and was advised by the doctors to stop playing.
The 31-year-old has been named to start at centre and will be starting alongside Fijian-born former Wallabies winger Henry Speight who will start on the left wing.
Meanwhile, former Highlanders and All Blacks flyhalf Lima Sopoaga and All Blacks 7s winger Ben Lam will be making their international debut for the Samoan side his weekend.
Both players were named to start with Sopoaga at flyhalf and Lam on the wing.
The Manu Samoa will take on the Barbarians FC at 6.45am this Saturday in Brive, France.
