Upgrading works at Kalekana Reservoir to cause water disruption in Lami area from Saturday 7pm to 6am Sunday

Residents living along Queens Road from Lami Town to Togalevu Naval Base are being urged to store enough water as the Water Authority of Fiji will be conducting essential upgrading works to the Kalekana Reservoir inlet and outlet valves this Saturday.

WAF says the work will be conducted from 7pm Saturday to 6am Sunday and will result in the temporary disruption of water supply in these areas.

Areas that will be affected include Lami Town, Vetaia Street, Nasevou Street and connecting roads, Solomoni Street, Naimawi Street and all connecting roads, Nakula Street, Ragunath Street, Vatuvia Street, Qeleya Road, Naivikinikini, Novotel, Kalekana, Cement Factory, Fiji Fish, Samoan Settlement, Uduya, Father Law Home, Wailekutu, Panaromic, Namuka-i-Lau, Veisari, Bilo, FMF Biscuit Factory, Muaivuso Road and all connecting roads, Wainigasau Village, Naimataga, Navesi, Monfort Boys Town, Togalevu Village and Togalevu Naval Base.
