All Blacks beat Fiji 57-23

The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians provided a tough challenge for the All Blacks but it was not enough as the All Blacks registered a 57-23 win in their first test match.

This is the first time that the Flying Fijians has scored 23 points against the All Blacks.

At one stage of the game Fiji was just trailing by 8 points.

Fiji really impressed in the breakdown area as they won a number of turnovers and got their two tries from lineouts.

Fiji’s tries were scored by Albert Tuisue and Mesulame Kunavula while Fiji were also awarded a penalty try.

Dane Coles got four tries for the All Blacks after coming on as a substitute in the second half.

Their other tries were scored by Jordie Barrett, George Bridge, Will Jordan while David Havili got two tries.

Flying Fijians captain Levani Botia says they know the All Blacks are a great team and they just wanted to play rugby.

Fiji will play the All Blacks at 7.05pm next Saturday.
