Departing Swire Shipping Fijian Drua utility forward Joseva Tamani has made his statement clear that it is up and onwards from here for his Drua team after they made history last weekend by qualifying for the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific playoffs in just their second year in the competition.
The Drua demolished the Queensland Reds 41-17.
Tamani, who has been performing consistently well this year says the Drua will have a much better season come next year, but for now, they are looking ahead to their quarter final clash this weekend.
The 26-year-old who will be leaving for France at the end of this year’s Super Rugby Pacific season to join Pro D2 club Colomiers had a memorable last home game for the Fijian Drua side against the Reds over the weekend finishing it off with a try in the 75th minute running away 60 metres untouched.
The Vagadaci, Ovalau lad is also hopeful he has done enough to be considered for selection into the Fiji Water Flying Fijians for the July test and the Rugby World Cup later this year.
The Drua will take on defending champions, the Crusaders in the third quarter final at 7.05pm Saturday in Christchurch.
In other quarter finals, the Blues will host the Waratahs at 7.35pm Friday, the Chiefs will take on the Reds at 4.35pm Saturday and the Brumbies will play the Hurricanes at 9.35pm Saturday.
