Ayesha Kirti Reddy, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics and a Diploma in Teaching at the University of Fiji has engraved her name in the institution’s history becoming the first student to attain A+ in all her units.
She also scooped five gold medals.
Reddy who hails from Barara, a small village nestled between Nadi and Lautoka says her parents ensured that she had everything needed to excel in education.
She says there were no major financial struggles, but their sacrifices have been my biggest motivation.
She says she treated every assignment, assessment, and quiz as the most important evaluation of her life and time management was the key.
Her remarkable academic record has also earned her the prestigious Vice Chancellor’s Award, a recognition reserved for students who demonstrate outstanding excellence.
Reddy says the Vice Chancellor, Professor Shaista Shameem has been an inspiring figure for her since my early days at the university, and receiving this award under her leadership is a great honor.
