Unemployment could lead to youths using and selling drugs in Fiji.
The General Secretary of the Methodist Church in Fiji and Rotuma, Reverend Ili Vunisuwai highlighted this at the Annual Conference and Bazaar.
He says drugs in Fiji is a form of getting money for some people because they think it is an easy way to earn a living.
Vunisuwai also says the Methodist Church has a youth training centre that trains young people to develop their skills and with this training they hope the youths get into the workforce and earn a living.
He says the church does not condone the use or selling of drugs in Fiji because it is not a Christian belief and also leads to violence.
