Olympic bronze medallist Reapi Uluinasau has been nominated as one of the 2023 World Rugby Women's Sevens Player of the Year after a sterling performance at the World Rugby 7s Series this year.
Uluinasau played in all eight tournaments this year and was named the DHL Impact Player.
She was consistent and delivered the greatest impact against four key criteria – carries, offloads, line breaks and tackles.
Ulunisau made 78 tackles, 28 breaks, 76 offloads, and 152 carries throughout the season.
Ulunisau has been nominated alongside Black Fern 7s players Michaela Blyde and Tyla Nathan-Wong and Australia’s Maddison Levi.
