The University of the South Pacific Emalus Campus in Vanuatu will be open tomorrow as repair works have been undertaken at the Campus.

Vice Chancellor, Professor Rajesh Chandra has assured the parents of students at the University that there will be no further disruptions to the student’s studies.

Chandra said USP is extremely saddened and very much concerned with the suffering that the people and Government of Vanuatu are experiencing.

The campus was closed following the devastation caused by category 5 Cyclone Pam 2 weeks ago which resulted in damages to properties and facilities of the campus and also loss of lives.

He added that all students can report to the Campus from tomorrow as the campus staff will provide all necessary support.

The death toll in Vanuatu has risen to 16.
