Reigning champions the USA are out of the Women's World Cup after being stunned by Sweden 5-4 on penalties.

Both teams drew nil-all at full-time.

In the other matches played Netherlands beat South Africa 2-0 in round 16 of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023.

Netherlands was leading 1-0 at half- time.

In the other matches to be played England will face Nigeria at 7.30pm today while Australia will face Denmark at 10.30pm.
