One hundred students of Viani Primary School will soon be able to have Computer and Art and Craft classes after the US Navy engineering team together with the RFMF engineering team helped built two classrooms for the students.
Head-Teacher Vika Ralulu said the school is grateful to the US Navy team for the assistance as they have been trying to fund the two new classrooms.
Ralulu said the Computer class is only for the Year Eight students while the Art and Craft class is for every student.
She said they are expected to open the new classrooms next Wednesday.
Meanwhile, another US Navy engineering team is in Wailevu East District School also constructing a new classroom block.
Public Relations Officer Lieutenant Commander Tiffany Walker said the US Navy medical team will be at the Labasa Hospital from 8am to 4pm tomorrow conducting medical screening.
Those who need to undergo surgery will be operated on board the US Naval Hospital Ship Mercy.
