A UN-run school in central Gaza where 4,000 people are sheltering was hit during an Israeli air strike, killing at least six people.
According to the statement from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, dozens of others were injured and the numbers are expected to increase.
UNRWA states that no place is safe in Gaza anymore, not even the UNRWA facilities and it is outrageous.
They say it shows a flagrant disregard for the lives of civilians.
UNRWA says the hit took place during Israeli’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip.
