Two men from Dreketilailai missing in Labasa Waters

Two men from Dreketilailai are currently missing in Labasa Waters after failing to return from a fishing trip on the 2nd of this month.

The two men have been reported missing at the Labasa Police Station.

Police say search efforts are expected to continue today.

The two men went fishing on the 2nd of May and were supposed to return yesterday.

Police say when they failed to return, a report was lodged with the Labasa Police, whereby search and rescue efforts were initiated. They are also requesting mariners and those living along the coastal areas to keep a lookout for a 28-foot wooden boat (BLN17), navy blue and white on the side with green and white paint on the deck.
