Two men have drowned after jumping into a pool to save a child on the Gold Coast, police say.
Emergency services were called to the Top of the Mark hotel apartment building in Surfers Paradise just before 7pm on Sunday with reports the men had got into trouble.
Paramedics said the pair, aged 65 and 38 were pulled from the pool by family members.
They performed CPR on the two men but the pair were unable to be revived and died at the scene.
The child was successfully pulled from the water.
Investigations are ongoing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
