Two Fijian Rugby players who are currently playing in France are being by eyed by the France National 7s Team for next year’s Olympic Games.
Rugbypass reports that the Souyaux Angouleme Club wing, Ledua Mau has been allowed to join the France 7s training squad while Perpignan Club has given Alivereti Nauga a two-year deal which could see him switch allegiance to France.
Mau says he will take up the first opportunity given to him, whether it is for Fiji or France.
Nauga says the prospect of playing for a major European nation is appealing however just like any other young Fijian kid, playing for Fiji would be a dream come true.
Meanwhile, Virimi Vakatawa and Alifereti Raka play for the France 15s side while Tavite Veredamu is with the France 7s team.
