The Tui Tavua, Ratu Salesi Baleimacuata said he personally supports the proposed FijiFirst but other parties can come in and campaign in Tavua.
Ratu Salesi today accepted the request from the leader of the Social Democratic and Liberal Party, Ro Teimumu Kepa and party officials in relation to their political campaign.
He said he has given his chiefly approval for SODELPA to campaign in Tavua as they have close ties with the Vanua of Rewa and Bau.
The Tui Tavua said he is waiting for other parties and will also open the doors to them.
Ratu Salesi Baleimacuata said he signed up for the proposed FijiFirst party because of the assistance given to the poor.
He also said the houses that were damaged during the recent floods have also been repaired by the government.
