Tui Cakau expected to close council meeting today

The Turaga Tui Cakau is expected to close the Cakaudrove Provincial Council meeting today.

Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu who is the Paramount chief of Cakaudrove and as head of the confederacy has accepted the visit made by the delegation from the Vanua of Cakaudrove.

Roko Tui Cakaudrove, Ratu Aca Mataitini said whether the Tui Cakau attends the meeting or not, that is his own decision.

The meeting kicks off at 9am at the chiefly village of Somosomo in Taveuni.

Meanwhile the meeting will be opened by the Commissioner Northern, Colonel Ilai Moceica.
