Tsunami sirens are currently installed in the Water Authority of Fiji – Kinoya Sewerage Plant, FINTEL – Vatuwaqa, RFMF Officers Training School – Vatuwaqa, USP Statham Campus, USP Lower Campus, USP Main Campus, My Suva Park, Government Training Centre – Nasese, iTaukei Trust Fund Board Office - Nasese, Civic Car Park Rooftop, Government Shipping Services – Walu Bay, Biosecurity Suva Operation Office – Renown Street (near Suva Bus Station) and Lami Town.

The National Disaster Management Office says all tsunami sirens will be activated and agencies and communities living along the vicinity of the tsunami sirens do not need to evacuate but use this siren test to identify and test their evacuation procedures in terms of designated safe routes and safe assemble areas/zones.
