Truck driver to be questioned in relation to the death of a 11 year old boy in Navua

A 25-year-old truck driver will be questioned by police in relation to the death of a 11-year-old boy in Viwawa, Navua yesterday.

The boy passed away after he stepped on a live power line.

He was found lying motionless near a soil extraction site under a broken live power line which was allegedly damaged by a truck.

Police say the boy was at the scene with friends looking for eels when the incident occurred.
