Trial of man who allegedly raped wife to take place from next Wednesday

The trial of a man who allegedly raped his wife will be held in the Suva High Court from next Wednesday.

The man is charged with one count of rape and one count of assault causing actual bodily harm.

The alleged incidents happened in Namosi in March last year.

He has been further remanded in custody.
