Trial of Christopher Narayan to be from 30th March next year

The trial for Christopher Narayan, who allegedly murdered a 2‑year‑old girl in Nakasi in March this year, will be from March 30th to April 3rd next year.

Narayan allegedly punched the girl during a heated argument with his partner at the time.

The victim was allegedly found lying unconscious in their Nakasi home by her 20 year old mother who is the first accused in the case.

The 2 year old girl had been rushed to the Valelevu Health Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

The case has been adjourned till the 16th of next month.
