Tom Trbojevic hit his sixth career hat-trick after the Sea Eagles thrashed the Bulldogs 66-0 in the NRL last night.
Trbojevic and winger Jason Saab scored three tries apiece, while Reuben Garrick equalled Manly’s record for the most points in a match as the Sea Eagles piled on 50 points or more for the third consecutive week.
The victory was the second biggest of the NRL era after Parramatta’s 70-0 triumph against Cronulla in 2003 and the sixth biggest in premiership history, while Canterbury’s loss was their worst since 1935.
Reuben Garrick and Toafofoa Sipley collected two tries for the Eagles and Karl Lawton scored a try.
In other results from last night, the Titans beat the Raiders 44-6 and the Knights thumped the Cowboys 38-0.
The Broncos will take on the Sharks at 4pm today and the Wests Tigers will face the Rabbitohs at 6.05 tonight.
