President of the Fiji Hoteliers and Tourism Association Dixon Seeto said upgrading works and expansion of rooms, facilities are being undertaken by a number of resorts in the country.

He said expansion is always on the move in terms of Fiji tourism.

Seeto said projects such as the Naisoso project, Momi development project and plans for a hotel development at Yadua site are expected to boost the industry further.

He also said good occupancy rates are being experienced by hotels and resorts in the country as the industry is into its peak season and has picked up on its performance than earlier this year.
