Top teams like Ratu Filise, Fire, Wardens, Police and Tabadamu will play again in the Uprising 7s tournament this Friday and Saturday.
The tournament is not part of the Fiji Rugby Super 7s Series.
There will also be two men's and women's teams made up of national sevens players.
The tournament will held at the world-class artificial turf at the Uprising Sports Centre.
There will be 16 men's teams and 6 women's teams.
Organiser Ropate Kauvesi says people can expect a very face-paced game because of the artificial turf.
He says tournaments like these are critical for the national teams preparations for the Olympics.
The prize money is $5,000 in the men's competition and $2,000 in the women's competition.
