Good news for people as it is highly likely that a few of the popular channels that were replaced earlier this month will be back on Sky Pacific.
Fijian Holdings Limited CEO, Nouzab Fareed has confirmed to Fijivillage that he has given specific instructions to Fiji Television Limited Management to bring back the top channels.
Fareed said some of the popular channels that are highly likely to be back are BBC and Star Plus.
He said it may take two weeks to bring the channels back.
Meanwhile, Fiji TV CEO Tevita Gonelevu had earlier said that they had conducted an extensive review process taking into account customer feedback before they made the changes in channels.
He said when they had difficulties in clearing some of the channels, they then took into account the customer feedback in what channels they would look for if they brought in new channels.
We questioned Gonelevu on how the customer feedback was conducted as there have been numerous complaints after the channels were replaced.
Gonelevu was also asked if a survey was conducted with all the subscribers to get their feedback as many subscribers say that they were not consulted and they had paid for the service based on the channels that Sky Pacific was offering.
According to Gonelevu, the changes in channels were based on complaints from customers that some channels had repeated programs.
