Todd Greenberg has resigned from his post as the National Rugby League chief executive.
Greenberg was stood down by the NRL claiming it was with a mutual agreement after reflecting on the needs of the game.
He will be replaced by chief commercial officer Andrew Abdo as the Interim CEO.
Greenberg stated in a statement that it has been an honour and a privilege to be the CEO of the NRL for the last four years and despite the variety of challenges and pressures he has loved every single minute of the journey.
Greenberg became the NRL's head of football in 2013 before he took over the reins in 2016.
