If you are living in Nausori then you must start storing water as Water Authority of Fiji says you will be experiencing low water pressure to no water from 9pm next Friday to 12am on Sunday.

Affected areas include Tailevu South, Bau, Cautata, Naila, Ovea, Taro Settlement, Daku, Kaba, Mokani, Naila, Namuka, Naisogovau, Lakena Hill, Verata, Drakiwaila. Kasavu, Baulevu, Wainibokasi Road, Buresova, Popi Street, Cakobau Park, Vunimono, Naiyala, Nadali, Bau Road, Kuku, Burebasaga, Dreketi, Noco, Vunivaivai and Nakelo. The Authority says this is to allow teams to carry out urgent repairs to a leaking mPVC DN450 bulk main along Vuci Road.

They say water carting trucks are on standby to provide water to Fijians living in affected areas and supply will be progressively restored to affected areas over the weekend and into Monday.

You can call the Authority on 3346777 or 5777 if you require water carting trucks in your area.
