Thompson Bridge next to MHCC

Thompson Bridge next to MHCC in Suva City is now partially closed for vehicles until further notice.

Only one lane coming from the Tappoo City end is open for motorists and the FRA has turned this into two lanes.

The Fiji Roads Authority says the emergency closure is due to structural failures identified on the section of the bridge that supports the two lanes on the upstream end.
