SODELPA MP Lynda Tabuya has responded to people claiming she used a photo opportunity at the Sai Prema Foundation last week as an opportunity for publicity saying this is not the first time she has been photographed with Sumeet Tappoo and the Sai Prema Foundation.
Last Wednesday, Tabuya posted the photos on her Facebook page and thanked children from the US Embassy English Access Program for donating their time to pack relief items at the Sai Prema Foundation.
Tabuya says she currently works with the Sai Prema Foundation in support of children undertaking the English Access Program funded by the US government and administered by Vision Fiji.
She says she is a member of Vision Fiji.
Tabuya says she has had previous posts working with the Sai Prema Foundation.
The SODELPA MP says she sees this as mutual cooperation with community workers getting together for the greater good.
Tabuya says politics came later in her life and has undertaken community work as a lawyer and community leader for decades.
The Sai Prema Foundation says it will not comment as it is focused on helping people affected by TC Yasa.

Tabuya also confirms that she is not involved with the planned proposed party of former SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka.
Rabuka has already said that he is looking at the name People's Alliance for his planned proposed party.
Tabuya says upon enquiry with youths who have left SODELPA and moved to the planned proposed party, she has been informed that the page named People's Alliance is a fake page with less than 40 followers, only created a few days ago.
She says the real page has close to 3,000 followers and it was created much earlier.
Tabuya says posts from her own page are being directly copied onto the fake page, and it has been reported to Facebook.
