Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama joined various youth groups and staff of the Suva City Council at the Suva City Council Awareness clean-up program at the Suva Foreshore as part of Constitution Day commemorations.

He says this Constitution Day, they are celebrating every Fijian's constitutional right to a clean and healthy environment; a protection that is far too rare in our world.

Bainimarama thanked those present for coming out in numbers.

SCC CEO, Azam Khan acknowledged the head of government for his support and participation in keeping the area clean and green.

The event included cleaning up of the beach, shoreline and foreshore in allocated spots along Queen Elizabeth and Suva Point picnic park.
