SODELPA Leader, Viliame Gavoka says while they are celebrating Constitution Day today, they continue to express anxiety in terms of the protection of resource owners in Fiji.
Gavoka says they believe the 1970, 1990 and 1997 Constitutions had the entrenched aspects of what needed to be done to give confidence to resource owners that their resources are safe under the Constitution.
He says the 2013 Constitution claims to offer the same protection but there is still a great sense of anxiety with resource owners.
The SODELPA Leader says they would like to be given the opportunity to review this Constitution and make it one that is inclusive.
Gavoka says the 2013 Constitution was rushed through.
