Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Mick Byrne says there are always opportunities to take following their 28-20 loss against the Brumbies in their Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific round 11 match over the weekend.
Byrne says they did some reasonable work during that game and were attacking the line and scoring just before half time.
He says while there was disappointment around not getting the 4 points, there is a lot to take out of that game moving forward.
When asked about the weather over the weekend, Byrne says it was enjoyable.
Drua captain, Ratu Meli Derenalagi acknowledged the performance of the players on the day and says though they did not start early in the first half but they were able to regroup and come back stronger in the second half.
He says they will try to get an away win in Perth when they take on the Force this Saturday at 11.55pm.
In other matches this week, Moana Pasifika will play the Chiefs at 7.05pm Friday, the Reds will take on the Rebels at 9.35pm Friday, the Blues will play the Hurricanes at 4.35pm Saturday, the Highlanders will take on the Crusaders at 7.05pm Saturday and the Waratahs will host the Brumbies at 9.35pm Saturday.
