SODELPA Leader, Viliame Gavoka says he knew that MPs like Ro Filipe Tuisawau and others did not have the heart to go with SODELPA but stayed on pretending to be SODELPA parliamentarians and collecting allowances knowing they will move somewhere else.
Gavoka says this has left a bad taste in the mouth.
Gavoka also says the biggest problem was that some people did not understand or did not want to subscribe to the way the party does things.
He says in 2018, the party leader, Sitiveni Rabuka, still wanted to lead although SODELPA had lost the elections.
Gavoka says the SODELPA Constitution is clear that after the party loses an election, the party leader gives the position to someone else.
