The last thing we want is for the players to be down and out, thinking about the loss in Perth against the Western Force, so it is now just thinking about the Crusaders and how important this game is for us this weekend.
This was the response from Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Glen Jackson after being asked by fijivillage Sports what the team has done to turn things around this week after coming off a huge loss and an underwhelming performance against the Force.
Jackson says in terms of the last two weekends, it has been really tight for the first five weeks in every game, and then there have been a few big scores coming out, which is the competition where they are at.
He says this week, the Crusaders obviously are coming off the same as what the Drua had come off following their loss to Moana Pasifika last week.
When asked if there has been any soul-searching done by the team after the loss in Perth, Jackson says indeed soul-searching was done individually.
He says they came back and made sure that the players had a hard session to get over and done with.
