But Argentina's even more stunning 25-15 victory over Ian Foster's men quickly blew away any Australian complacency.
Hooper says they are fully aware of what they are capable of.
He says Argentina showed so much heart and good discipline against New Zealand.
The Wallabies will face Argentina at 8.45pm tomorrow.
