Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says the Opposition knows they will lose the next elections and they are already looking for excuses.
Sayed-Khaiyum made these comments while speaking on the 2022 Electoral Amendment Act.
He says the same powers are with the Supervisor of Elections in the Political Parties Act and no concerns were ever raised in the 2014 and 2018 general elections.
Sayed-Khaiyum asks why this is a concern now.
