Former Flying Fijian Waisale Serevi says the Fiji Water Flying Fijians have understood the importance of the game against the Georgian and Portugal teams and Fijians need to pray for them.
Serevi highlighted this in his post on Facebook after arriving at his home in San Clemente California today.
In his post, he highlighted in the iTaukei language saying ( Mahu koto Vitia, ratou sa kila tiko na cauravou na bibi ni qito e rua qo).
The maestro says it was a proud moment for all Fiji Rugby fans all over the world to witness the historic game between Fiji and Australia, which we won after 69 years.
He says gold medals were not only made from gold but are made from sweat and determination and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
He adds that it will be an exciting two games ahead of us, and we need to keep praying for the boys, for God to give them power and strength from heaven and protect them from injuries.
The Flying Fijians will take on Georgia in their next RWC pool match at 3.45am this Sunday. You can check out all the Rugby World Cup stories, interviews, photos, videos and schedules on our website, fijivillage.
