The Asco Foundation has today donated a cheque of $15,000 to the Foundation for the Education of Needy Children-Fiji.

National Coordinator for Foundation for the Education of Needy Children-Fiji, Ratu Meli Vesikula says the money will be used in purchasing school bags and stationery for 330 needy children in Fiji for the new school year.

Ratu Meli says this is the largest amount of back to school shopping donation they have received over the years.

He has thanked the Asco Foundation for their continuous support in helping the needy children in the country. He says they have already started distributing school materials to these children and will finish all distributions by Monday.

CEO of Asco Motors, Craig Sims says the foundation's main aim is to support the people who are in need and they will continue to support FENC Fiji in the years to come.

The Asco Foundation was established in 2018.
