Minister for Agriculture, Dr. Mahendra Reddy says that thanks to our constitution, we are no longer strangers in our own country and no longer victims of discriminatory notions of national identity.
While responding to the President’s speech during the opening of the parliament session, Dr. Reddy says that the prosperity of the society cannot be measured only on monetary terms but on citizens’ safety and inclusiveness.
Dr. Reddy also states that the Prime Minister is a true patriot and is an example to those leaders whose deed continues to fail to match the high tone of their words.
He says that SODELPA MP, Inosi Kuridrani misled parliament when he said that the Prime Minister is getting $3,000 as a daily allowance.
Dr. Reddy also urged those who are still drinking from the cup of bitterness and haters to put away self and party interest and serve all Fijians with dignity and respect.
